With the chill of near-winter in the air, the warmth of this family made it all the more special. The adult son and daughter were visiting, and the love between the four of them was unmistakable.

The session didn’t stay in one spot- we explored the gorgeous grounds of Crane Cottage, shifting from archways to garden paths, capturing the family in various combinations. I always love mixing it up-dad with daughter, dad with son, mom with daughter, mom with son, and of course, the two parents together.
Recreating treasured memories…
One of the highlights was recreating a cherished family photo that the mom had long wanted to revisit, adding a heartfelt touch to the session. I always incorporate black-and-whites to add timelessness, and I brought my signature creamy tones to the color edits-giving their skin a soft, warm glow while staying true to the richness of the scenery.
